Interpreting Matrix...

Matrix Trilogy is one the most celebrated feature film of our generation. I feel Very few people understood the movie in the first attempt. With seeing it many times and some surfing people understood it literally.

Movie shows that Machines have overtaken the world and are doing farm of humans to generate energy for there survival. So, whatever we see is a virtually simulated world thinking it as the reality. Morpheus is doing the job of freeing more and more people from this virtual reality and rest of story everybody knows.

I think Matrix is a symbolic reality. What machines are doing in matrix? They are simulating a virtual world in our minds and we are feeling that is reality. Have we tried to look at functioning of our mind? How it takes decisions? How is oscillates? How it responds to certain stimuli?
Our mind is a kind of biochemical program which is being continuously programmed. Our actions are function of our thought, thought is a function of our memory. And this memory is conditioned by our surroundings. Most of the our notions based on this memory. Most of our thoughts, composures , attitude are based on it.
SO, all our ambitions, actions are motivated by what we read, what we think(again memory). So, in a way it is what there in this memory that decides who we are? what we are doing? why we are doing?
Now as we have started introspecting into what drives us, what makes us.... what we are now...where are we going...where we really wanna go...We can trace most of our drives, ambitions, motivations.. We were directly or indirectly instructed to follow a path..If we are honest enough to admit roots of these ambitions are really weak. They all look foolish. We were made to think that way. Here comes analogy of virtual world created by Machines in Matrix. We are programmed by this society for its benefits and vested interests. Whatever that is been told to us , taught to us in not necessarily for our good.

Now, as in matrix to free ourselves from this virtual reality means freeing us from our conditioned memory. Deleting all the crap that is there. Keeping things which makes sense..Asking ourselves is this really what I want to do...not asking our memory what I want to do..That is real freedom expressed symbolically in Matrix.

This is to free us from all stupid notions..stupid ideologies we are carrying...to make our vision clear... from dust which is there from centuries....to give us a new look...new beginning ..to look afresh at an illusion.. called Life :)

Time Flies...

Yes..I get this feeling so many times. Things happened years ago feel like yesterday. A week goes in a blink. Weekend goes much faster than blink :(. I am writing this on start of one more Manic Monday...Hoping that this week also goes in a blink..:)

JAL is Back...

Yes..Wait is almost over. Jal is back with their 2nd album. ... Boondh..Official release will be soon but 5 songs are already available.Add Sajni+Payal to it. Makes it 7. From whatever heard so far.4 out of 7 look like Jal standard..They are
1. Hamein Itna pyar: Initially I got a feel that preview was better but listening to latest one again and again made me fall in love with it. This version looks more focused and has more thought in it.
2. Mai Mast hun: Really great no. Has Sufi touch to it. Farhan at his best. Farhan born to sing this song. :)
3. Payal: Complete song not out yet. But is promising
4. Sajni: First video will come with this song. Youtube concert version is awesome. Looking forward to complete version.

Overall, I found no song of level Aadat. But wrong to expect Aadat again and again. Miracles do not happen so frequently. In all good effort By Jal. Keep digging guys.

Back 2 blogging..

Hi All,

I am back to it again....after a long time. I don't know why I could not do it for a long time...but now feel like doing it again.
Somehow, I am kind of person Who will never do a thing because others are doing it. I would try to find my own reason to do it.
Surprisingly I don't have any agenda for today's blog like I had it so far. But today I feel like talking..talking to myself. In Our day to day life, we become so used to not talking to your inner voice. We keep on finding something to which we can engage our mind. If we could not find anything then we turn to TV or some thing like that. Somehow , we are killing our own thought process. I feel when a person stops thinking, he is dead. One should never stop thinking. We stop learning when we stop thinking and brain as any other organ requires regular exercise.
Right now I am in state of mind that I have no agenda. Nothing looks interesting. Nothing motivates me. Talking to a friend is not making me feel relaxed. No thought is enticing me.
My this blog may look like series of unconnected statement, reflecting state of mind now.

Yes....I got it now. It is again some fear...some fear in my mind which is not allowing me to get away from me. Same fear me landing me into a confused state of mind. Now I know what to do. Identify that fear and act accordingly.
Thanks to blogging for giving me a chance to talk to myself. And reminding the same principle of fearlessness which was part of my some initial blogs... :)

Something Unselfish..something Pure...

In today's world, everybody is trying to be pragmatic, more interested in his own growth. In short being selfish is the way to go. This is at least perceived as practical by most of the people.
I am looking for something unselfish, something pure..... Just try to look inside of you how much unselfish you are? We all are biggest pretenders of selfishness. Everything we do is having a cause effect relationship. When we help somebody, though we show him we are helping him because you want to help him, we help him because he will help you when needed. This is not directly stated but tacit agreement between the two. If the person who helped in first time will need help...he will expect help from the person who helped him. So, it’s a Business. Some people may find it harsh to call it Business. But we got so used to expecting from people we helped....we find it difficult to accept. It hurts our ego...right...
How many of people you helped because they needed help....not because they may return you a favor directly or indirectly.....How many of you will help somebody and will forget it next moment??? Can you help somebody, without letting him know that you helped him a big way....How many of you help others to be known as good and helping person or you want to be known as good and helping person...
The only expectation from the person you help should be, when he is in position to help others, he should help others. And this applies to others also. So this help should form a chain...And someday the chain you started will come back to you...don’t expect it to happen...but if it happens...you will find the purpose of your existence.
There are very few relationships in this world which are unselfish...otherwise its all business.....you always form a relationship when you see some gain in it. You give something...you take something.....
This thought really upsets me....Don’t know why? If we really want to be unselfish...it is tough to survive....People will advantage of you and go away...And when you see people taking advantage of you and going away, you will see the chain you are trying to propagate braking......Whether you will have courage to help somebody after this??
That’s why I say I am looking for something unselfish, something pure...I think purpose of my existence may be to find something pure and unselfish...Or when I find it, I may realize the purpose.........

Who is the Winner?

We humans are always running for something...to achieve something, to get something. If we somebody going ahead of us in that race, we feel insecure and we get upset...that’s called jealousy...Jealousy is a natural human expression. There is nothing to feel guilty if you are going through it. But we must learn to accept some inalienable truths...We cannot be the smartest in the world and even if we are the smartest one, we cannot always win the race.(Here definition of race is up to you to decide) Most of the times I feel outcome of the race is not important but the process is....
So, most of the time we spend is involved in process and not the outcome. So, if you are enjoying the process not taking pressure what is the outcome, you can enjoy more. At the end of the day we do everything for what reason...To be happy. I think most of the people in world will agree with this. I feel happiness is core aim of each and every human being. All his other aims are corollaries of his primary aim i.e. happiness. e.g. If somebody's aim is to a good painter then the reason behind his aim his, if he is a good painter that brings him feeling of happiness. So, in this way ultimate aim behind every aim is to be happy...
So, about the race, we must realize one thing, sometimes we may be ahead, sometimes we may be behind…the race is long.....at the end it is with yourself....
Coming to the title "Who is the Winner?” I feel the person who is enjoying current moment to the fullest is the winner of the moment. At a particular moment if I am enjoying it more than the richest man in the world than I am the winner of the moment.(Here the definition of "I am enjoying “will vary from person to person)

What is a company???

I just remembered a scene from movie The Rising- Mangal Pandey. In that scene, Mangal Pandey asks other charactor "What is defination of company? " And the answer was "Its a group of people bounded by glue of greed" I had to take a pause...to cogitate what exactly it means and I was surprised by the truth it carried...Really amazing...
I somehow feel this defination still applies.Each and every company is trying to increase is profit and bounded by greed of investors... :)

Open Source Or Not Open Source

I was chatting with my friend and he was trying to tell me how great open source is...and as everybody expects. He also wanted everything to be open source... When I started thinking about open source, I can see many open source things like Linux. They are doing really great. So why can’t we have everything open source???
Let’s look at this from a company which is against or not supporting open source. There argument is, we work on something. We are applying our brains to invent something. After working so hard on it if we make it open source, how can we get return on it. Most of people in this world work with some motive which is having dependencies on there some high priority motives at that point of time. So for most of people, they work not because their work is there at most priority in there life but to fulfill there personal dreams. That’s right because work is not the only thing in life. Somebody works for to kill time or to earn money...there are different reasons. The point I want to make is He works to get something. So, if we make his work open source then how he will be paid...So how the technology will develop. So you need to pay people to develop something. If saints would have been rich or rich could have been saints then they could have employed people to develop technologies for human kind.(so altruistic!!!) But the truth is saints and rich people form mutually exclusive sets...(there can be exceptions and I will love if somebody can find such).Hence, all the investors in this world put money to get money (including minute players like you and me who invest money in shares) . Investors don’t care about how beautiful technology is. Its Business for them. They want their money to grow. That’s the vicious cycle.
Investors employ some smart brains, pay them to develop something. Make them feel they are doing THE BEST THING in the world. And earn money...more money...On the other side there exists some researchers who do the things to make world a better place, they are also human...They also need something to eat and live. They can’t also help it. So, I feel nobody can work fulltime on open source. The people who can invest some time in development as hobby will keep on developing something. But its tough for it to become mainstream....I personally like open source and I wish that GOD will give me all money to Employ people to altruistic stuff mentioned above. :)

My first serious blog

I thought of starting blogging seriously many times but couldn't..:( .But now decided finally...I have to start it....What is blogging....I feel its a way to express your thoughts atleast you can note down thoughts which come to your mind.It can help you organize your thoughts. Many times it so happens that you think over some issue and come to a conclusion,but never note it down many times. Hence, you end up loosing the thread...So I feel it is better to note it down somewhere. If someone else is interested in knowing what you think...Then what's the problem in it....You can find some like minded people.
I hope this thing will take away my loneliness. I thing everybody is lonely out here. I remember one Quote by a Marathi author Va.Pu.Kale....A person is born lonely, as he grows he is surrounded by parents,friends but still he is alone . All These people go away someday and he is lonely again. He is always lonely but most of the time he is pretending his loneliness. Though you are in crowd you are not in crowd I started feeling lonely in crowd,I stopped to be in crowd.
The moment I came cross this thought... I was so amazed....And realized...We are born alone and will die alone..
Somehow I am never comfortable to be in crowd. I hate crowd mentality don't like to be in crowd.
